2012 to have an extra Bank Holiday

Sky News are reporting that Lord Mandelson is to announce an extra bank holiday in the UK in 2012 to mark the Queen's diamond jubilee (June 4 is the Queen's official birthday).

The May Day holiday will be moved to June 4 and an extra bank holiday added on June 5.
