Ask Joe Public is a small qualitative research consultancy that specialises in UK based consumer research. Ask Joe Public was established in 2006 by Julia Whitehead, who has more than 15 years' experience in the industry.
Ask Joe Public is passionate about helping our clients grow their brands. We can help you understand your consumer; our feedback can enhance the appeal of what you are selling and provide direction not only now, but in the future too.
We have worked with numerous leading UK and global brands as well as smaller companies undertaking research for the first time. We specialise in a broad spectrum of consumer research, but predominantly work in retail, events, (packaging) design, brand positioning, NPD and advertising development.
At Ask Joe Public we treat you as individuals and therefore our research is tailor made to suit your specific needs; there are no packages. Methodologies including the familiar focus group discussion, one to one depth interviews, accompanied shopping trips (ASTs), intercepts and ethnography (observational research). In addition to this we also have an established reputation for producing wonderful Vox Pops of your consumers that can really help bring your research to life. All footage is shot by professionally trained camera personal on broadcast quality cameras.
Julia Whitehead is a member of the Market Research Society (MRS), Association of Qualitative Research (AQR) and Independent Consultancy Group (ICG).
